Hotel in Tangier Devoted Free Accommodation to Medical Staff Fighting Coronavirus.


Hotel Le Rio in Tangier has Devoted 25 rooms to Frontline medical staff taking care of coronavirus (COVID-19) patients in the region of the Tangier-Asilah Prefecture north of Morocco, to limit their travel and warranty their accommodation near the hospital responsible for treating cases.

Le Rio Director, Hamid Lachiri, stated media Maghreb Arab Press (MAP) that a 18 doctors and nurses, who are fighting against the novel coronavirus, are using 25 rooms of the hotel, the hotel offers comprehensive services to the medical staff as part of national solidarity efforts to stop the spread of the virus.

He added" the medical staff also have their own bathrooms and kitchens, separate from the rest of the hotel’s customers, to minimize exposure to the virus."

Medical staff is strictly prohibited from living with or visiting their families, with a view to prevent potential infections.

the initiative launched by the hotel's owner,  Abdenabi Bouali, is a part of the group’s contribution to national solidarity efforts to contain the pandemic. and he  urged all the other hotels in the city to provide help to medical staff who are fighting the virus.
