Morocco extends state of emergency until April 20.

In a statement issued by the Moroccan government on Sunday declaring  its plans to extend the state of emergency, which came into effect on March 20,  for a month  in a further attempt to stem the spread of covid-19.

The Government Council Approved the draft decree n ° 2.20.293 relating to the declaration of the state of health emergency in all the parts of the national territory to fight against the epidemic of the virus "Corona"...

According to the same notice, this draft empowers the competent public authorities to take the necessary measures, anyone who reject the orders of Moroccan authorities will receive a sentence ranging between one to three months in jail. Convicted suspects will have to pay a fine ranging between MAD 300 to 1300 ($30 to $132).
