Gambia Had Announced to Open Consulate in Morocco’s Dakhla.


The Gambian government has announced , December 12, in Rabat, its decision to open a consulate in Dakhla,south Sahara  in the near future, and the Gambian  Foreign Affairs Minister, Mamadou Tangara had a meeting with the  Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Boreita, "We discussed opening a consulate for the Republic of Gambia in Dakhla."

The opening of this consulate "will take place as soon as possible," said Tangara, adding that "we will work together to give concrete substance to the visions of our two heads of state."

For his part, Bourita said that the talks with his Gambian counterpart were an opportunity to "recall the commitment of HM the King to develop a strong south-south cooperation with the sister republic of The Gambia".
